My name is Rebecca and I own two rescued pit bull pups named Ophie (Ophelia) and Luke (The King of Derp).

Luke and Ophie are both guestimated around the same age of 11 months (as of today!). We first adopted Ophie shortly after losing our heart dog, Ella.
A week later, Luke became a foster, but about 2 months later, or so, we officially adopted him.

I should post photos of my heart dog, Ella.
She's no longer with us as she died at 6 years old.
On May 9th, 2010, she was healthy, showing off on her spring pole for company.
Two days later, I awoke in the morning to let her out to potty and she had an oblong tennis ball sized lump on her neck.

Three weeks and one day later, we had to make the decision to let her go. She had lymphoma. But it fooled her bloodwork.
The day after we FINALLY got the diagnosis (after paying for an expensive node removal surgery), we had to let her go.
She had declined in just three weeks. I had let her out to go potty the morning we let her go.
She wobbled when she squat to pee, and then upon coming back into the house, she wouldn't climb the three stairs to go back into my house from our sunroom because the cancer had spread to her spleen, stomach, and liver. I begged and pleaded with her for her to climb those three steps to come inside. I bawled and begged her. She looked away from me, then back, and finally climbed those steps into the house. But she didn't do it because she wanted to. She did it for me because that's how incredible she was. I knew then it was time to let her go. To this day, I still cannot post up a memorial for her, and I still cry like a baby when I think of her.

She was the best dog ever for me. She was sooo ball obsessed and had drive like I have never seen in another dog. She DESPISED all other dogs, but she was the gentlest dog in the world with humans.
A true APBT. And I miss her every single day.

so sorry for your ella ! and for you . one of the reasons i love the APBT is they will use their last breath to please you , its mad that even when they've passed on they're still with you .. i had a great little bitch sasha who was PTS and i think about her every day if i could swap keiser (in my avatar) to have her back tomorrow i would do it in a heart beat ! dont get me wrong keiser's a great dog and he's me auld pal but he's no sasha ,

She was a lovely dog. I really mean that..i hate any story like this im useless..big bag off snots..rip girl...

Thanks, everyone! She was my heart dog. Whenever my husband would go to work for the day, and my children to school, and it was just Ella and me.
I knew what her every look meant, and I'm pretty sure she knew mine.

Luke is adopted, and I don't know his heritage/pedigree, do you still want photos of him?
I mean, I cannot say with 100% certainty that he is even 100% APBT since I did not get him from a breeder.
If you still want photos, let me know.
