| Hey everyone! I joined this forum as I am applying to veterinary school in Ireland and, of course, hoping to get in! I wanted to find out more information about importing my dogs to Ireland and stumbled upon this forum, so here I am. I figure if I don't get into school in Ireland at least I will have made some new friends there and if I do then I will definitely feel like I know some people before I even arrive in the Fall! I live in Los Angeles, California with my 2 rescue Pit Bulls and 1 Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Rain, my female 9 year old pit bull I rescued from a shelter when she was 4 mths old. She has cancer now and is currently undergoing chemo treatment although I have recently run out of funds (so might have to stop 2 treatments short). She is a very sweet girl who loves to go for adventures - if you met her you would think she was only 3 years old as she does not act her age! Trip is my 7 year old male pit bull who was rescued from the shelter I worked at (at the time) with a broken leg. He is a 50 lb lap dog and likes to play with very small toys. And Roc is my 10 yr old SBT who I rescued from a family who lost their home - they brought him into a temporary shelter after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. He has epilepsy, so he takes daily medication. He is my shadow, my heart, my little man. So that is a quick run down of my little family. I plan to post photos in the gallery soon - looking forward to getting to know everyone here.  | |

| Welcome Along You will need Health Cert - eu form 998 & a few other details before bringing a pet to Ireland The dogs will need a rabies vacc, a successful blood titer test for rabies antibodies, & 6 months later they can travel check out the links [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |
